Bradley Trade Services is excited to showcase one of our latest residential projects - a storage transformation in just 3 days!

Project Overview

Our customer had been referred to us to help her out with the storage solution she was dreaming of. Their pavers next to the house had started to lift and looked quite weathered and uneven. A spa shell sat under the pergola, but was unused. The backyard did not have a lawn and the ground had been paved over completely.

Chatting to our team, the customer chose to replace the old pavers for a modern, updated look, and have a lawn installed.

The project included:

• Co-ordination and confirmation of delivery of materials to site

• Setting up safe work zone.

• Setting up drop sheets for dust protection

• Cutting out ceiling and ceiling joists in agreed location.

• Relocate electrical supply for Ladder install.

• Adjusting ceiling framework to suit.

• Installation of ATTIC Performance Komfort Timber - LWK 305 70x130 Ladder.

• Installation Air conditioner duct extension to maximise space.

• Supplying and installng white cell membrane to the underside of rafters to create a dust-free environment.

• Installation of a new LED light to the attic, with switch near the access hatch

The Work

Our experienced team managed every stage of the renovation, from initial check-measure to vaccuming up the dust. 

Key phases of the project included:

• Preparation and Installation: We carefully set up drop sheets around the work area to minimise dust from the access hatch installation. 

• Fixture Installation: A sleek light wood ladder from knot-free Nordic pine and white cell membrane lining the Attic space, to provide a bright and dust-free storage space.  

• Finishing Touches: LED lights were installed in the Attic to improve visibility, and a Whirlybird was installed to improve installation. 

The Result

The finished attic provides a previously-unused space in the ceiling to store our customer’s possessions. The white cell membrane provides a dustproof environment to store items long-term, without worrying about them getting musty.

Our team installed this within 3 days of the project starting; one of the home’s occupants even remarked to the team that they couldn’t believe it was done so quickly!
