Project Overview

Selling your home can be a stressful time – packing everything into boxes, coordinating the move AND keeping the home presentable for open inspections.

Our customer had reached out to us to help them out with home projects they hadn’t had the time to get around to before the sale of their home.

The project included:

• Filling and repairing cracks in the exterior of the house

• Removal and replacement of existing lawns, installation of new lawn

• Supplying and planting Japanese Box Hedge, Dwarf Crepe Myrtle, Cycas abd Euonymus Easy Hedge

• Repaint barbeque wall after sealing

• Repaint pool wall where control joints repaired/created

• Application of two full coats of premium, exterior acrylic to all surfaces

• Application of two topcoats of premium acrylic to windows

• Application of two topcoats of oil based enamel to front doors

• Re-fix gate and supply an fit new suitable hinges

• Pressure wash whole external area to remove dirt and grime

• Regrout shower alcove in Ensuite 

• Remove current light fittings to front façade

• Supply and installation of new wall lights

The Work

Our experienced team managed every stage of the home sale preparation process, from initial inspection to locking the door on the way out.  

Key phases of the project included:

• Internal and external painting: Our painting team did extensive work on the property. They repainted exterior walls, eaves, downpipes, doors and the pergola. They also sanded back some windows and doors that were in poor condition and applied a full coat of premium oil-based undercoat. Inside the house, the hallway, study, music room, and 3 bedrooms were also painted.

• Landscaping: Our landscapers removed and replaced the existing lawn, and re-fertilised with organic lawn food. They also created new garden beds, planted new plants to replace the old, and tided the area.    

• Carpentry: The pool wall was cracked. Our team re-fixed the pool gate, fitted new hinges, sealed around the pool pump and repaired the pool wall.

The Result

This already gorgeous property was elevated to another level by our team’s work. Although the features of the house were striking before our work commenced, the repair work and maintenance fixes from our team went a long way to increase the value of the home, and it’s liveability for its new occupants.

The updated exterior paint and glossy new doors would stand out to potential buyers before they even set foot in the home. The refreshed garden space would also appear lively and healthy to buyers, and was tidied to maximise value. 

The reparation of the indoor pool area would bring a new touch of luxury to property viewers, who would be able to enjoy their without seeing new projects to add to their to-do list. Our team even repainted the pool walls, and sealed the pool pump to stop vermin from getting in.
