Project Overview

Our team took on the challenge, delivering a project that included:

• Design and consultation
  
• Painting
• Electrical wiring and lighting
• Carpet Replacement
• Wainscotting
• Bathroom upgrade

The Work
Our experienced team took immense care with this project, ensuring high-quality results. 

Key phases of the project included:

• Lighting:
  • Lights installed above the bar, in the feature alcoves and down the passageway.
  • We installed a decorative ball wall light in the bathrooms, and decorative ratten pendants lights in the entrance.
  • LED Spitfire Emergency Lighting installed in toilets, entrance areas, the main room and outer flank areas.
• Priming and Painting:
  • All previously painted surfaces were filled, flushed, and sanded
  • Stain block and primers were applied as necessary
  • Undercoat sealer was applied to all new surfaces
  • Two coats of premium ceiling white was applied to all ceilings.
  • Two coats of premium low sheen acrylic was applied to all walls.
  • One coat of acrylic undercoat and one coat of satin enamel was applied to all previously painted woodwork.
  • Wallpaper installed to three feature walls as per design plan and selections.
  • Oil based undercoat and 2 top coats applied to the walls behind bar and shelves behind bar 
    
  • Decorative timber was white-washed and sanded
    
• Bathroom upgrade
  • Wall demolished between ladies bathroom and mens bathroom to enlarge womens bathroom to allow for three cubicles.
  • Ladies bathroom door entrance altered.
  • Cavity slider door installed from passage to kitchen and office area
  • Cornices removed and square set all ceilings.
  • Old tiles demolished, and all toilet and bathroom items from male and female toilets.
  • Plumbing locations were adjusted to suit new design, allowing to channel concrete floor and patching only where required.
  • Bathroom floors re-screed
  • Low-profile double vanity installed in male and female bathrooms.
  • Automatic tapware installed in both vanity units
  • Install bespoke doors and frames to male and female entrance door and air lock doors 
• Wainscoting
  • Supply and installation of wainscoting to all walls in the main area

The Result
Our team consulted with Adelaide Zoo and Quality Training and Hospitality to deliver a modern yet versatile look for this multi-function venue. The interior decoration fits in well with the surroundings and can be useful for a range of events, from conferences to weddings.
